David Goggins recently posted on his Instagram to showcase a workout that sounds simple but is far from it. It' only a 30 pushup workout, but you follow the words in the song as to when to go up and down. The song's name is "Bring Sally Up" by HIIT BPM if you want to attempt this workout at home.

WHO IS DAVID GOGGINS?

If you don't know who David Goggins is, he is a retired Navy SEAL. He is the only member of the U.S. Armed Forces to complete SEAL training (including two Hell Weeks), the U.S. Army Ranger School (where he graduated as Enlisted Honor Man), and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training. 

David's list of accomplishments doesn't stop there; he is an accomplished endurance athlete who has completed over 60 ultra-marathons, triathlons, and ultra-triathlons. He set new course records and regularly placed in the top five. He once held the Guinness World Record for pull-ups completing 4,030 in 17 hours, and he's a sought-after motivational public speaker.

Over the years, he's shared his story with hundreds of thousands of people and wrote the best-selling book "Can't Hurt Me." David constantly pushes his body and shows people how to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential. 30 Pushup Challenge With David Goggins

These rules are meant to be followed.

The only rules for this challenge: 

  • They have to be perfect pushups.
  • Elbows cannot be locked in (arms at a 45-degree angle).
  • When you go down, your chest cannot be resting on the floor.
  • When you come up, you go till your arms are locked out.
  • Don't raise your butt or arch your back.
  • Go as long as possible. Song ends with 30 pushups.  

Those who want to try the challenge but struggle with pushups try doing the challenge off of pushup bars or off your knees. Another twist you could do with this workout template is to play the same song while doing other exercises, like bodyweight squats, pull-ups, presses, and so much more.
