Sprint Training Workouts
These workouts are great for building speed, coordination, acceleration, and general sprint conditioning.
1. Sprint Training Workout A
Place 6 cones in a straight line, 10 meters apart. The 6th cone should be 50 meters from the starting point.
- Sprint to the 1st cone
- Walk back
- Sprint to the 2nd cone
- Walk back
- Continue until you reach the final cone
You can also reverse the order by starting with the longest sprint and working backward.
2. Sprint Workout B
This workout uses rolling starts, meaning you begin with a jog before accelerating into a full sprint.

If you are doing a full sprint workout, it is ideal to perform it on its own day. If you do sprints on the same day as resistance training, separate the sessions by several hours when possible.
