2022 Arnold Classic Slap Fighting Championship Recap
The rules of the event were rather straightforward. Athletes could win in one of four ways:
- Knockout
- TKO or withdrawal (if an athlete can't continue in 30 seconds after being slapped)
- Point advantage
- By disqualification
Judges scored the fights according to overall technique, the damage inflicted on the opponent, and accuracy. If there's a tie after the scheduled 3-5 rounds, then there is an overtime round where each athlete gets one more chance to prove to the judges why they should win.

CLOSING THOUGHTS
This was a great spectacle that added some flair to the 2022 Arnold Sports Festival. We hope it will be back next year as it drew some crowds of spectators both live and online. Who knows, maybe the man himself, Vasilii "Dumpling" Kamotskii, will make an appearance next year as he is probably the most notable athlete in the sport.
What did you think of all the action?
