Take QuizThe 2022 Arnold Classic hasn't failed to deliver some unforgettable performances. From March 3-6th, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio, the Arnold Sports Festival is chock full of entertainment. Checkout our recap and see the results of the day one competitions at the 2022 Arnold Classic. The top winners in the 2022 Arnold Classic include Terrence Ruffin in the Classic Physique division, Cydney Gillon in the Classic Figure division, and Ariel Khadr in the Classic Fitness division.
The first day of the event was rife with intense competitions that saw some repeat champs and crowned some new faces. Let's have a look at how the day shaped up.
Looking to nab her third straight title, Missy Truscott came back to defend her title for the third time. Some of the top finishers from the 2021 Arnold Classic including Ariel Khadr (3rd place finish), Jaclyn Baker (4th place finish), and Aurika Tyrgale (5th place finish) were eager to take Missy down a notch and claim the throne for themselves.
The winner of the competition was Ariel Khadr who paid a tribute to the Terminator himself during her routine. Truscott took second and Baker rounded out the top three.
The Figure International division kicked off at the 2022 Arnold Classic with two past champions looking to reclaim the gold. A total of ten competitors competed for the chance to take home a title at the second biggest show of the year.
This event included some well-known names in the industry with five-time Olympia winner Cydney Gillon leading the pack. This year's Arnold Classic was was no different as she claimed the title, she has won every pro-bodybuilding event she's entered since the 2018 IFBB Rising Phoenix Arizona Pro.
Classic Physique is one of the most exciting divisions in the sport and the field of competitors took to the Arnold Classic stage this weekend to prove themselves as the best. This year was no exception, with four of the top five finishers at 2021 Mr. Olympia competing this year the results could have gone anyway.
The competition was tight in this event with a few of the top guys battling it out. Terrence Ruffin's physique was on point and he ended up winning the event for the second year in a row. Ruffing also won the Best Poser award and secured another $10,000. Not far behind him was Ramon Rocha Queiroz. Urs Kalecinski secured the last spot on the podium with a seriously impressive figure.
