Take QuizEddie Hall and Hafthor Björnsson nearly come to blows during a run-in a few days before the big fight is scheduled to take place. Both former World’s Strongest Men are in Dubai for the Heaviest Fight in History set to take place on March 19th, 2022, at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium in the UAE.
The two giants had their pre-fight face-off where we could see the bad blood bubbling to the surface with a heated exchange that nearly came to blows. The video of the altercation has since been removed from the Internet.
The delayed fight between Hall and Thor had some people believing we’d never get a chance to see the two square up in a ring and fight it out. However, the dream is becoming a reality now that the matchup will occur in just a few days on March 19th, 2022 in Dubai.
The video posted, now removed from the web, showed the two getting in each other’s face and having to be separated by their team before it came to an actual physical confrontation. CoreSports requested that the video be taken down due to the location’s owner, not giving consent for the filming.
With this face-off going the way it did, we can only believe the fight will be worth watching. On the other hand, some people think this was all for a show to manufacture more excitement to collect a bigger paycheck.
There’s only one way to find out you’ll have to tune in to watch it yourself!

Eddie Hall and Hafthor Björnsson have gone back and forth over the past few years. The feud supposedly popped off during the 2017 World’s Strongest Man finals. Hall won the title after Thor’s Viking press wasn’t counted because of how he completed a rep. Then Hafthor Björnsson one-upped Hall’s 500kg deadlift by adding 1kg. Hall disputed the lift’s legitimacy because it was done in Björnsson’s home gym in Iceland and Magnus Ver Magnusson was the head judge.
The two determined a boxing match would be an excellent way to solve these pent-up feelings. But unfortunately, Hall suffered a biceps injury just before the fight last year, so Björnsson went on to fight arm-wrestling legend Devon Larratt.
Björnsson and Hall are finally going to be able to settle their scores. The two spoke about wagering hundreds of thousands of dollars but ultimately settled on the loser having to get a tattoo of the other’s name.
