Testosterone is the primary anabolic hormone in the human body. Simply put, it's what makes a man a man. Unfortunately, the rate of natural testosterone production in Western society has plummeted in recent decades. In fact, studies tell us that they're dropping by an average of one percent per year (1) A natural consequence is a rise in the demand for prescription testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT), a medical intervention to normalize testosterone levels.
Several online TRT services promise to simplify what can be a laborious, confusing, and expensive process. Prominent among them is Fountain TRT, which regularly rates as the best complete online TRT service on the planet. But how good is Fountain TRT really?
In this comprehensive Fountain TRT review, we dig deep to provide you with the most complete analysis of this company you'll find online. Here's what we'll cover:
Fountain TRT is a complete online testosterone replacement treatment service. Beginning with an initial online questionnaire, the company offers testing to determine your blood testosterone level. You will have to buy their testing package, which includes a lab-verified blood testosterone test (you can take this yourself at home or visit a local Labword clinic. Fountain TRT will make the appointment for you). Your results are then sent to Fountain TRT, where it is analyzed by one of their urologists. You'll then have a video conference with the urologist to communicate your results and discuss treatment options.
Fountain TRT offers TRT by way of a topical cream or an injection of testosterone cypionate. Gels, pellets, and patches are also available. The cost of your ongoing monthly treatment varies according to the type of treatment you have been prescribed. Injection treatments are the least expensive, costing between $99 and $199 per month. Creams cost between $199-$399 monthly, depending on the strength of testosterone ingredients. Patches and testosterone pellets are the most expensive treatment, costing anywhere from $200-$500 per month.
The Fountain TRT team is led by Dr. Doron Stember, a board-certified urologist with more than ten years of experience, during which time he has treated thousands of men. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, completed an internship in general surgery, and finished his urology residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Additionally, he received specialized training in sexual and reproductive medicine through a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Hospital. Dr. Stember has previously held positions as an Assistant Professor of Urology at both the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has treated numerous individuals dealing with testosterone deficiency.
The rest of the Fountain TRT team is made up of eminent urologists who have the expertise and customer relationship skills to guide to the ideal form of treatment. The team includes:
Fountain TRT offers a complete in-house service, meaning that you don't have to pay expensive fees for doctor's appointments or spend hours sitting in a clinic waiting room. The process from initial assessment to receiving your first treatment is much faster with this service, often cutting months down to weeks.
At the time of this writing (September 2023), Fountain TRT is available in the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The company plans to roll out its services to the remainder of the country in the near future.
Limited Availability: Fountain TRT is not available in every U.S. state, which can be a limitation for individuals residing outside the states where the service is currently offered. However, the company has plans to expand its coverage in the future.
When visiting the Fountain TRT website, your first step is to take their 5-minute assessment to see whether you have signs of low testosterone.
You will be asked to rate a number of different factors, including how difficult it is for you to build muscle, lose fat, and maintain an erection. You also have to input your zip code so they can check if their service is available in your area. You will also be asked whether you want your lab work (i.e., blood test) done at home or a local Labwork clinic. At this time, you will also be asked to choose between topical and injection treatments.
You will then be invited to purchase the assessment package. This is typically $280, but was offered at a discount of $90 when I did the questionnaire. This package includes:
Fountain TRT communications are done through SMS. You will be contacted to set up times for your lab tests and your appointment with a urologist to discuss your test results. This appointment will be by online video conferencing. Before this meeting, you will have access to your blood test results so you can know where you are before meeting with the doctor.
One thing that I noticed when reading about men's experiences with this process is that the Fountain team never apply pressure to push a person into becoming a buyer. In fact, they often suggest trying lifestyle changes for a few months and then coming back for a reassessment. That is integrity in action!
Your one-on-one video session with a urologist is comprehensive and may last up to 45 minutes. One potential negative is that you can only schedule your appointment during business hours, which may be a problem for full-time workers. Three-quarters of an hour is also quite a lengthy time commitment.
The urologist will go over your test results in detail and then discuss a plan to get your T levels into the normal range if they fall short (below 300 ng/dL). If your levels are just a little below this level, the urologist may recommend lifestyle changes such as resistance exercise or more sleep for a few months and then coming back for a reassessment.
If it is determined by the urologist that TRT is the correct course of action for you, he will write out a prescription, and your course of treatment will begin. The topical cream or injectable testosterone dosages are customized according to your current testosterone levels, symptoms, and medical history.
Here's an overview of the services provided by Fountain TRT:
Fountain TRT can be used by men (currently, they do not offer a TRT hormone replacement therapy service for women) aged 18 or over. During the initial questionnaire, you are asked to input your date of birth. If you are under 18, you will be notified that the service is not available for you. I assume they have some further method of checking if you choose not to be honest about your age on the questionnaire.
After your assessment, you will only be eligible for TRT if your blood testosterone levels fall below 300 ng/dL and the urologist determines that you qualify and would benefit from the treatment. He will then write out a prescription, which is the only legal way to receive synthetic testosterone in the United States.
It's important to point out that TRT may reduce a man's sperm count. As a result, you might consider delaying treatment if you are planning on having a baby. Discuss this with your urologist during your consultation.
There are plenty of online reviews from verified clients of Fountain TRT. These include a series of video reviews on the Fountain TRT YouTube channel. The vast majority of these reviews are positive, with common themes being the company's integrity, the convenience of the in-house service, and the cost-effectiveness compared to going the traditional offline route to seeking TRT.
On TrustPilot, Fountain TRT has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars based on 149 reviews. Here are a few typical comments:
"If you think you have low T, READ THIS!...
I wish I could rate Fountain trt higher than 5 stars. I was feeling the daily fog and anxiety, my confidence was low, sex drive was low. They were super informative and honest about the benefits as well as any drawbacks to starting therapy.
I started just about 6 months ago, and Fountain slowly got me to the OPTIMAL level of testosterone. The brain fog is gone, anxiety is gone, confidence is back, and sex drive is back.
The only thing I wish I had done is reached out sooner. Too many guys go on for years feeling like garbage because their doctors refuse to check their testosterone or their doctor is not well informed on it. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF LOW T REACH OUT TO FOUNTAIN AND AT LEAST GET THEUR EDUCATED AND HONEST DIAGNOSIS! IT IS 100% WORTH IT!"

"Highly Recommend Fountain TRT
I first heard of Fountain TRT from a Google search after being told by another online clinic that I may have low testosterone. After reaching out to them, the process couldn't have been smoother. From walking me through getting my labs done, to my initial consultation. Everything has been extremely professional. Everybody at Fountain has been extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I have. I highly recommend Fountain to anyone experiencing low T symptoms or if they just want to get checked and consult with a doctor."

Since starting with Fountain, I've seen an amazing improvement in overall energy, focus, fat loss, and sex drive. It's been amazing to feel like my body can keep up with everything my mind wants it to be doing. I used to sit in my living room for hours with depression and fatigue after work. I truly recommend this for any man that feels like they can't find the motivation to do anything. Take your life back and give Fountain TRT a try."

Testosterone replacement therapy can be quite a scary prospect. As a personal trainer who deals with a lot of older men, I get all sorts of questions on the subject. Here are the answers to some of the most common questions I'm asked:
Yes, Fountain TRT does offer injections. Once your lab results have been interpreted and the decision made that you should proceed with TRT, a urologist will discuss your treatment options with you, including the possibility of injections. If it is decided that injections are the best form of treatment, the doctor will write a prescription, legally allowing you to receive testosterone injections. The doctor will determine the frequency of injections.
Your synthetic testosterone, in the form of testosterone cypionate, will be sent to you on a monthly basis.
The two most popular TRT methods are injection and applying testosterone creams. The decision between them is really a matter of personal preference. To help you decide, here are the pros and cons of each:
Research shows that injectables and topical creams have a similar effect in terms of increasing testosterone levels. A 2015 study compared the effectiveness of injectable, topical, and implantable pellet applications of testosterone. While the results showed that testosterone level increases were more significant in the injectable and testosterone cream group than in the pellet group, there was no significant difference between injectable and topical cream applications (2).
The two most commonly used forms of testosterone steroid for TRT are cypionate and enanthate. Here's a comparison to help you decide which one is best for you:
Half Lives: The half-life of cypionate is longer than that of enanthate. That means that cypionate will last longer in the body. The longer half-life of testosterone cypionate may mean it doesn't have to be injected as frequently (i.e., every 14 days instead of every 7-10 days).
Many people consider testosterone cypionate the best TRT option due to its longer half-life. Fountain TRT uses cypionate as their injection steroid.
Yes, TRT does work in terms of helping men with hypogonadism to restore healthy testosterone levels. Hypogonadism is the condition where men have very low 'T' levels (below 300 ng/dL). When testosterone levels are normalized, the symptoms of the condition may be reduced. These include fatigue, reduced sex drive, mood swings, muscle loss, and loss of bone density. According to some research, general quality of life, energy levels, and even cognitive health may improve. You will also be able to more easily build muscle mass.
There is also some research suggesting that TRT treatments that restore normal testosterone levels may provide mental health benefits. According to a 2011 study, low testosterone levels are associated with higher levels of anxiety and depression. When testosterone levels are normalized, the symptoms of depression are lessened (3).
The effectiveness of a course of TRT can be enhanced by supporting it with lifestyle factors. These include regular exercise, especially weight training, following a healthy diet high in protein and healthy fats, and, perhaps most importantly, getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
Fountain TRT offers a ray of hope for men suffering from the effects of low testosterone levels who don't want to put up with the hassles of waiting rooms and doctor's fees. Among the several online TRT providers, Fountain TRT stands out as a pioneer in the industry and is frequently recognized as the best online TRT supplier. After spending the hours to put together this review, I can see why.
Their dedication to streamlining the TRT process is at the core of Fountain TRT's success. They make getting your initial blood work done a painless experience and then provide you with one-on-one video access to an expert urologist who will spend up to 45 minutes discussing the results of blood tests and making recommendations going forward. After reading dozens of reviews, it is apparent that these doctors also have fantastic public relations skills that can put clients at ease and help them make the best decision regarding their treatment.
One of Fountain TRT's most impressive qualities is its unwavering dedication to honesty and patient-centered care. Customer testimonials often point out that the Fountain TRT team never uses pressure to get people to buy. Instead, they frequently advise making lifestyle changes first and then going back for another evaluation—a moral and sensible healthcare procedure model. Although Fountain TRT's present service coverage is just in a few U.S. states, it is encouraging to learn that the company has big plans to make such services available nationwide soon. With this growth, many more men in the United States will surely benefit from the advantages of their thorough TRT strategy.
In conclusion, Fountain TRT offers men suffering from low testosterone symptoms a lifeline rather than merely a TRT service. Fountain TRT provides a comprehensive answer to the prevalent problem of low testosterone with its user-friendly online assessment, thorough testing, professional medical consultations, and a range of therapy alternatives. Don't hold back from visiting the Fountain TRT website and making the initial move towards a healthier, more active you.
