Powerlifter Stefi Cohen wins her third boxing match and thus remains undefeated. Cohen won in a unanimous decision against Mexican boxer Karla Valenzuela at the Boxing In The 305 Event held in Miami on February 11th, 2022. Cohen is now 2-0-1 in her boxing career.
Stefi Cohen is one of the most decorated powerlifters to ever pick up a weight. Originally from Venezuela, Cohen emigrated to the US. Cohen is one of the most impressive people walking on Earth as she is super strong and smart. Some of Cohen’s accomplishments include:
She has set over 25 world records to her name and deadlifted 4.4 times her bodyweight. At a small frame of around 5 feet and 120lbs, Cohen demonstrated almost unimaginable feats of strength. Here’s a look at some of her competition records in powerlifting:
Stefi Cohen transitioned to boxing a few years ago and has been on a tear since. Her first fight against Haidde Zapa ended with her winning by TKO in the third round. In Cohen’s last fight in 2021, she fought Marcela Nieto on the undercard of a fight that featured Thor Bjornsson, where her fight ended in a draw.
In this latest fight, Cohen fought an experienced Valenzuela who had 31 previous fights but only had 3 wins. Even though Cohen has much less ring experience, she was still the favorite coming into the fight. Cohen won this fight in a dominant fashion, with all judges having her up two points or more on the scorecards.
At this point, we’re not sure if Stefi Cohen can’t accomplish anything if she sets her mind to it. The team at SET FOR SET is looking forward to the next time she hops in the ring. We wonder who Cohen’s next opponent will be as she’s proven to be successful at this competitive sport in such a short time.
