The 2022 San Diego Championships took place over the weekend on March 26th. Several divisions competed, but the featured draw was the Men’s Classic Physique Division. Tony Duong won the title and will get a shot to compete at the Olympia.

Just within this month of March, there have been multiple Olympia qualifier contests starting with the 2022 Arnold Classic followed by the 2022 Boston Pro, then the Musclecontest Fitworld Pro and Campinas Pro, as well as the 2022 Kuwait Classic.

Let’s look at the results from the 2022 San Diego Pro.

2022 San Diego Championships Results

The 2022 San Diego Pro was a qualifying event securing the winner a place on the biggest stage in bodybuilding, the 2022 Olympia, that’s set to take place from December 15-18th in Las Vegas.

The main draw for the contest was the Men’s Classic Physique division which had 11 American athletes going head to head.

The man that stood on top of the podium was Tony Duong. This was a huge win for Duong; he looked absolutely shredded. After placing second at the 2022 Boston Pro just two weeks ago, this was the perfect redemption for Duong.
