This was an Olympia qualifier where athletes in the Men’s Open, 212, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Bikini, Women’s Bodybuilding, Figure, Fitness, Wellness, and Women’s Physique.
Some big winners were crowned at the 2022 Chicago Pro, let’s look at the winners and results!
The Chicago Pro is one of the most anticipated shows of the year and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Below are the results and brief recaps of each division that competed.
With this division we got to see Antoine Valliant walk away victorious after coming so close last week at the 2022 Vancouver Pro where he finished in second, only 1 point behind Iain Valliere.
This is a huge win for Valliant who had faced some serious health issues over the past year. Following Valliant in second place was Tonio Burton with Andrea Muzi close behind in third to round out the podium.
The 212 division saw some intense competition but when the dust cleared it was Dectric Bo Lewis who won the title. This is a huge win for Lewis who came up short at the 2022 Puerto Rico Pro just about a month ago.
Jonathan Pelkey won the hotly contested Classic Physique thanks to his peeled physique. This was a massive jump for Pelkey who came in 8th place at the 2021 Chicago Pro. Just after Pelkey stood Tommy Clark who made to the 2021 Olympia after a great year and ended up placing 16th.
Nicolas Koeu won this division handily and has clocked his second big win of the season after winning the 2022 Republic Of Texas Pro not too long ago. Koeu will try to improve his ranking at the Olympia from his 16th place finish in 2021.
Jessica Wilson racked up the win in part to her amazing shape and stage presence. This was Wilson’s biggest win of the season. Last year she finished 11th at the Olympia so we know she’ll try to crack the top ten this year.
Angela Yeo was crowned the winner of Women’s Bodybuilding due to her massive frame and symmetrical muscle bellies. This is Yeo’s biggest win of her career, let’s see what she can do at the Olympia. It’s also worth mentioning that second-place finisher Sherry Priami didn’t walk away empty handed as she won the 2022 Chicago Pro Best Poser Award.
Julia Champlin scored a huge win with her flawless shape. This is the highlight of her short career so far and she’ll have some tough competition at the Olympia but we hope she shows out!
This is Sara Kovach’s second straight win of the Chicago Pro. Last year she placed 7th at the Olympia and we think she has what it takes to make the top five this year, stay tuned.
It was Isamara Santos’ superb physique that landed her the win in this division. After just turning pro last year with her win of the 2021 NPC Worldwide Empro Classic, Santos has a bright future ahead of her.
Ashley Jones looked impeccable on stage which led to her winning the division. This is a big win for Jones, perhaps as big as her 2021 Texas Pro win. Jones now looks forward to the Olympia to see how she will compare with the best of the best.
