Post was shot after a brief argument with a neighbor over a parking spot at their townhouse in Waxahachie, Texas. IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Shane Post Shot
Bodybuilder Shane Post was shot in the torso on April 19th, 2022 in the parking lot of his gated townhome after a brief altercation with neighbor Nikki Brown.
Shane’s wife, Irina who is also an IFBB Pro bodybuilder said Shane was getting dropped off at home by a coworker when he pulled into the neighbor’s parking spot.
Within a few seconds, Shane’s neighbor, Nikki Brown, came outside wearing a bathrobe to confront the pair about pulling into the parking spot. Brown then pulled a loaded gun out from under his bathrobe and shot Post in the torso.
All of this was caught on a security camera and was witnessed by Shane’s wife and baby. After Post was shot, he stumbled to the ground and then pulled up his shirt to reveal the bullet wound. Brown walked away nonchalantly after shooting Post as Irina rushed over to check on Shane.
After officers arrived, they immediately began lifesaving measures until an ambulance arrived, then transported Post to Baylor Scott and White Hospital. According to Shane’s family, he is in the ICU at Methodist Dallas, and he has suffered injuries to his colon, pancreas, liver, and urethra. Shane’s mother said that the bullet is still in his body as it’s too dangerous to remove.
Apparently, this wasn’t the first run in that the Posts had with their neighbor Nikki Brown. Brown was taken to Ellis Country jail, where he was then bonded out. As of this time, the investigation is still ongoing. We will update this article when more details emerge.
WHO IS SHANE POST?
Shane Post is an IFBB Pro bodybuilder who started competing in 2012, where he placed 12th in both the NPC Nationals and the IFBB North American Championships. In 2014 he won 1st at the NPC Great Lakes Championships. Within the last few years, Shane had some big wins, including 1st at the 2017 NPC Pittsburgh Championships and 1st at the 2020 NPC USA Championships.
We can only hope that Shane can get back to his former self, but he’s going to have a long road of recovery ahead of him.

If he’d used more logic and didn’t park in the neighbors spot he wouldn’t of got shot.
